Im 17 years old and plan on joining the army as SOON as possible, i wanna b an army ranger so what should i do?

Im in decent shape…i play football and have for years, im 5’8 and just over 140lbs. i can do 106 sit-ups in 2 minutes and roughly 90 push-ups in 2 minutes…any workouts or advice would b greatly appreciated!

Army PT workout – Need a week long day by day breakdown.?

I am dating a 1stSgt and lately I have been less than super scheduled with my workouts, well needless to say I have put on about 6 pounds in the past 3 months, 1stSgt didn’t say anything but I know he noticed.

I want to get a break down of daily PT so I can get up to his level. I have asked him for it but he just tells me this or that, I need specific goals.

Like 6 min mile for 3 miles, or 89 pushups in a min, stuff like that.

So any charts would be great, or workout plans. THANKS!!

How much muscle do you need for army basic training?

Might sound kinda odd but what do you think? Should you be ripped with abs and huge muscle or just a little muscle? How big should the weights you workout with be to be able to go pretty smoothly through BCT? Like 40 pound dumbbells certain amount is what i mean. I know this is kinda of an odd question but i want to make sure I’m ready.
