If you doubt that this is easier on your knees: check out the video “Barefoot Forefoot Strike Running with Force – Slow Motion” to see an analysis of the force absorbed by the body when running on the forefoot, similar to the pose method. You can clearly see the force is gradually increased as opposed to the blunt heel strike (in a related video).
If anything POSE method feels a heck of a lot more comfortable on me now that I’m getting the hang of it than the other normal pushing method. My dead sprint for one is much faster as well as my over all run but during my sprint training sessions, I don’t feel as much strain on my knee and this is HUGE considering I’ve torn both my meniscus in the past. It takes a little getting used to but it’s worth it so far. Haven’t pulled 10 miles with this yet but as I train we’ll see the results
Pose Running Can
• Reduce impact on knees by 50% (Scientifically proven)
• Dramatically improve training and racing performance
• Give you a competitive edge
• Help prevent injuries
• Help you loose orthotics for good
Removing impact from the knees is enough for me to give it a go
